Tonight we celebrated "Our Hero's". We talked about what makes a hero, how a cub scout can be a hero. We also talked about cooperation and how that can help a cub scout be successful at home, in school, with friends, etc.
The local firefighters came and talked about how they have to cooperate with each other to be successful. They also talked about fire safety. After they showed the kids the truck, which of course is always the funniest part of the night.
To thank them for their help I got a big can of mixed nuts and attached a note saying, "We are NUTS about the service you provide to our community. Thank-You."
